Update: In Other Words Not Much To Tell

I'm deep into the new book which means I never know what day it is and I tend to forget to breathe because writing is like chasing after words and ideas with a busted net. But progress is being made (44 pages were written last week). This week I'm limited to writing an hour a day because I have a presentation this Saturday, I need to get some paying gigs off the ground and send out interview questions to some authors I'd like you to meet on the blog.

So I'll try to pop on the blog even if its just to tell you I'm alive and how many pages I wrote. Here's an idea: what do you think about doing a Book-In-A-Week here next week? Let me know and if there's enough interest we've got ourselves a deal!

I'm in for BIAW, though I may not be able to do it after Wednesday next (ear stuff). Lord knows I need to make more progress on the WIP.

Good for you on the 44 pages you did get done.

Um, do you mean write a book in a week? Like, a NaNoWriWeek? I'd be up for that. Would there be a word count involved?

I'm in. Never done anything like that. How's it work?

Book in a Week works like so:

Everyone establishes a page goal to complete within the week (you could write five pages, 1 page, 20 ... whatever you want!).

Each day you report in the number of pages you wrote and we put it up on the blog.

Finally at the end of the week, we pat ourselves on the back for the pages we've written, whether or not we met our goals. A written page is a written page even if you have to fix it!

Sound good?

I saw the headline about "How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents" but didn't read the article. Does anyone know why they banned it?

P.S. 100 pages.
